Which monarchy is the most expensive to maintain?

Q. Of all the world monarchies, i would like to know which one is the most expensive to maintain. Alot of people in the UK seem to complain about how much the british royal family costs the tax payer. Yet some say british royalty is one of the cheapest to maintain, if so, which country spends the most on its royal family?

A. Many of the monarchs are ultra-wealthy in their own right, like Bahrain, Oman, Saudi, Brunei, Qatar, United Arab emirates, and Thailand. As billionaires in their own right they are not really maintained. However, the cost of the yachts, fleets of rolls royces, and jets gives a rough idea of how much is spent on their personal needs, and it is much more than spent on the UK monarchy.
----------------------------------------------
The Japanese monarchy is structured as a constitutional monarchy, and they spend about as much per person as the UK, but they have twice as many people (so twice the costs). Costs are tremendous.
---------------------------------------------
In Europe the Scandinavian countries and the Netherlands spend much more person than the UK, but they are also much smaller countries. I mean Denmark is 5 million people.
--------------------------------------------
I'm not absolutely sure about Spain because they are not as public with their costs.
============================
In general for a head of state, Queen Elizabeth costs relatively nothing. Most of her expenses are for maintenance of palaces which would be maintained if the UK became a republic. She has no wild personal tastes. As a little extravegance she took a helicopter to Kentucky Derby when she came to the US two years ago, purely because she is a fan of horse races and this would be the last chance in her life to see this particular race. The Americans loved having her there. IMHO we probably spend more on the US secretary of state than the UK spends on The Queen.
-----------------------
The Princes Charles and Andrew are a little more enamored with over the top luxuries than their mother. Although Andrew gets a lot of crap from the media, I think Charles is the worst one in the family. He expenses things that his mother would never do.
-------------------
Mind you some of the expenses are high even for an upper level businessman. The royal train is fairly expensive way to travel a few hundred miles a day. But if you see photos it actually looks like a budget motel on wheels. It doesn't look anything like the train cars of the ultra wealthy in the 19th century. But it is a concession to monarchy. The Queen has an office on the train, she can bring medical equipment, she sleeps in a secret predetermined location on a rail siding so their are no security concerns with strange hotels, and when she comes into town in her scarlet coaches it is a bit of a celebration that the whole family can enjoy. My personal opinion is that they should keep the train until she dies. As she reaches her 90's it will be harder and harder for her to go around the country.
==================
Personal jets are a huge expense for any head of state. The royal family has a personal helicopter, but it is used almost exclusively by the children. The Queen finds them obnoxious and loud, and very rarely gets on it.
--------------------
In general I am not saying anything new. I think a lot of Brits are bothered by the expenses of the royal family, and not those of the monarch.
=================
I maintain a particular annoyance that Charles flies around the UK in massive oversize jets that he leases. For a man who makes every other speech about the environment, I think he could set an example and fly around the UK where round trips are seldom above 650 miles in a turboprop. I don't care if it's the fanciest sexiest turboprop on the planet, but he doesn't need a conference room and a bedroom if he is flying for less than one hour each way. It's a small country, and even high level businessman fly around in very light jets for four passengers with no bathroom. You can rent a four passenger jet at the same airport the royals use for £2,600 that will take you round trip for the day to anywhere in the UK. When I see Charles spend £33,400 for an overnight trip to Belfast (310 miles each way), I think he is an environmental hypocrite. Does he need a plane big enough so that he can jog around a track for the one hour that he's in the air?

Are there really any genuine work from home opportunities with no initial payment or investments?
Q. Are there really any genuine work from home opportunities with no initial payment or investments open to UK residents? Share your personal experiences.

A. can you do book keeping or computer work or be a call center for a business or group of businesses? If for instance you had a secretarial services you could easily run it out of the home. taking messages and typing up things as well as doing simple book keeping for small business.
If you have computer skills the opportunities are endless.
You could do babysitting if you baby sat three kids at a 150 to 200 a kid per week that would be equivilent to a decent salary. This can also be done out of the home.
higher income people need a decent place to drop off there kids that don't have 20 kids they are baby sitting. If you focused on 3 high income families to watch there 3 kids you would have a nice income stream and work about 9 hours a day and be able to stay home.
If you are a reader you can proof read but I am not sure if there is professional criteria for that or if it even pays well?
You would have to call some publishers to ask them.
I like the idea of a call center that can be very lucrative.
But you will have to go get some accounts. The nice thing about a call center its not a heavy expense one or 2 phone lines would do it.
Well I hope this has you thinking anyways. I will warn you most endeavors at home require education because the activity you are doing for another is mainly communication if you are doing it at home.
There are a lot of highly paid professionals that work at home. However those professionals have set up their business activities that all the communication could be done by phone and paperwork by fax. I work as a real estate investor and 85% of my work is done at home. I love getting out of bed at 9 am and commuting to my office 15 feet away from the master bedroom to my command center. My tv's and pc screens and cell phones and fax machines and ect to follow world and local markets make leaving my home unnessesary. I know a lot of day traders and attorneys doing the same thing.
The new technologies sectors have so much opportunity it just requires an innovative mind and a creative ability to invent or add to what we are already using in the world today.Often people are just solving problems that current technology has. thigs like this can be done in a lab at home.
create a new invention then sell it to a needy consumer or company that needs your service. Think about you can do to enhance a product or make a product better. The ability to use that mind to create is powerful and keeping it thinking about the next big idea. Watch Donnie Duetche The Big Idea to understand what I am talking about. It is a tv show that discusses millionaire ideas and people that come up these ideas.
The education isn't easy to get if you already have kids but I would highly recommend paying the price to get it so you have the ability to earn high level of income at home. PS some education 2 year and 4 year programs can be done at home online!!! Low income might qualify for grants.
Good luck I hope this helps

so i'm looking to redo my bedroom for cheap currently the walls are orange, but last christmas all my presents
Q. were drk blue's. which i'm not a big fan of. especially not with orange walls =/. so what color should i paint my room to match it with the drk blue tapestry[sp?] and bed set? any ideas?

A. Blue and orange / blue and yellow / blue and brown do go together quite well:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/homes/design/design_inspiration/factsheets/309.shtml

http://www.bbc.co.uk/homes/design/design_inspiration/factsheets/119.shtml

http://www.bbc.co.uk/homes/design/design_inspiration/factsheets/310.shtml

http://www.bbc.co.uk/homes/design/design_inspiration/factsheets/321.shtml

But if you don't like like that idea try pale blue, white and silver, or blue and green.

How can I create an University DM Magazine successfully?
Q. Hello
I'd like to invest to publish a new magazine in China Universities.
It delivers to every bedroom free of charge. and it should like a real magazine. (I know many DM magazine has only Ads in the book).

And the profit comes from the Ads.

Please show me some suggestion, How can i do it successfully? and is there any successful one in US?

A. You need to find a publisher to publish the magazine.
You need to hire writers, salesmen and set up distrubition.

I would start with an online magazine for locals. You could have google ads on them and sell advertising space. You could have video feeds and articles. Here goes where you start.

1 Buy a domain
2. Setup of a web hosting
3. Create a website
4. Publish your website

For beginners I think yahoo web hosting is the best and easiest use. Yahoo has question and answer section that can solve most problems and direct phone line for additional support.

http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/smallbu...
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahttp://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/contactus...
http://geocities.yahoo.com

I would adevertise locally just like a storefront would.
This link is what I did to be successfull. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AsHLUlEo0hDw0kFFV6JxGgojzKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20071215180803AApbhK4

And I woul try article submission and free advertising also.
