No matter what activities visitors enjoy, a visitor who is enjoying the great outdoors on their Washington State travel will love how close a Washington cabin rental can take them to the incredible scenery and nature of the Pacific Northwest. Washington is a state that is filled with outdoor attractions like cruises, skiing, camping and hiking, as well as white water rafting, so the Washington cabins you can rent, be it small and basic to luxurious and comfortable, are a great alternative to staying at impersonal chain Washington hotels.

Skiing is popular in this state, due primarily to the many Washington Mountains, which are home to very popular ski resorts. Areas around Stevens Pass see a lot of traffic headed for the slopes. Wise homeowners have converted their homes into Washington cabins, or simply built lodging on their land, and have enjoyed the popularity of the area they live in.

The Harmony Lodge is a great example of a Washington cabin rental, although all the different ones have varying sizes, shapes, and locations. Harmony Lodge is set in a wooded valley, and 50 acres of private land wrap you in privacy and isolation if that is what you see. There is an area of the Index creek that also belongs to the cabin, so you have this area for your own use. This is one of the more secluded rental cabin Washington has, so you get the freedom and seclusion that people who come to enjoy Washington State travel will seek out.

Also in the area is Maggie's Cabin, situated on the Skykomish River. This Washington Cabin rental is a short 23 mile drive from Stevens Pass. There are two bedrooms and a hot tub in this 700 square foot cabin. There is also a fireplace that has a stove insert for a truly rustic experience. Add a kitchenette and a television with a DVD and a VCR, and you don't feel like you're totally roughing it.

Compared to any other rental cabin Washington has, the Sunset Falls Cabin is spacious. You can sleep up to four adults when you utilize the futon, which folds out to a queen sized bed. There is an original log cabin on the property. The Gold Digger Cabin can only hold two people, but it is warm and romantic nonetheless. There is a Jacuzzi in the bathroom, and a wood stove to curl up in front of. A great view of the summit of Mount Index can be seen from the living room of this Washington cabin rental.

If you'd like to rent one of the Washington cabins that have waterfront views, the Bells Beach cabin on Whidbey Island will give you great views of the Saratoga Passage. Outside the front door, you can see seals, herons, seagulls, and tugboats. There are also great views of the sunrise and Mt. Baker. There are not many rental cabins Washington has with great views of the water, the sunrise, and a mountain, so the Bells Beach cabin is a great place to stay. You can relax on the easy chair and look out at the lovely scenery through the picture windows, unwind in the relaxing hot tub and reflect on the remaining things you want to experience on your Washington state travel excursion.
