right now my room is lime green and i have a brown bedspread with different colored polka dots on it. I just turned 15 and i would like to make my room a little more my age. i have been looking on tumblr and i love how the tumblr rooms have lights and photo collages. i want to make my room just like a tumblr room. what color should i repaint my walls? what color bedspread should i get? how can i decorate it to look like a tumblr room?

As for choosing a color for your walls, look to the other colors on bedspread that you currently have. If it is in good condition and can still be used, that's one less thing to purchase. Get a shade of one of the other colors on the bedding for your wall paint and you will know that it will match. But if the other colors on it are the lime green and something else and you are bored with it, then you'll probably want a different comforter/bedspread/etc. Check out Target's website for bedding as they have lots of really cool sets. Mudhut, Boho Boutique and Xhilaration are good brands to look at for patterned sets. If you get one that is reversible, that will expand your decorating options.

No, I'm not a poser. I'm not doing this to be cool or liked. I'm douing this because I genuinley want to and I love the style.
I have everything needed (skinny jeans, leggings,sweaters, red lipstick, mascara, thick brown hair and the base of a bedroom, complete with a bed, desk and book case) but I am puzzled as to what to decorate my bedroom with, and as to what else I can incorporate into my wardrobe to complete my desired style. Also, if you have any hair/makeup tips, that would be extremely helpful, but I think I can manage by myself if you don't have any.

Honestly, just dress like you want and dress in what you genuinely like. That's what'll make you special, because believe it or not, some people don't have the nerve to express their own style.
And you could put posters on your wall or staple Christmas lights on them.
