Help! How can i make the bedroom more look more unisex with the colors i have?

My fiance and I are moving to a new apartment unfortunately the carpet in the bedroom is a very light baby pink. We will not be able to remove it. So i'm going to get a black and white comforter set to go in the room. We have dark brown furniture and the walls are white (they can not be painted) So with what i have so far what can i do to the room (colors of throw pillows, other items to put in the room etc..) that will make it unisex and not look like a woman's bedroom. Here is the comforter set for reference:

i would get the biggest white throw rug to place underneither your bed..and hopefully it will cover up most of the pink carpet. but since you have pink carpet i would play it up. use it as your accent colors, along with gray ( gray is more modern color). i know it sounds girly but can be a unisex room if done right, i would get black currtians to contrast with the white walls. if u can paint/ or wish to paint your brown funiture black it would look more cohesive. use differernt color pillows pink red gray and black or accents. a pruchas a throw blanket for your bed (red) make it stand out.

My parents want me to stage their house for sale. Tight budget?

P.S. The budget has yet to be set, however I have to stage the entire house, plus fix the flooring and tile the fireplace, so furniture can't be ridiculously expensive.
