Would a man be charged with statutory rape in this scenario?

Q. Can a man be charged with statutory rape when he is the penetrated legally speaking?
The underage young man is 15-17 and is much taller and bigger than the man and the man is gay and he is gay. Wouldn't that be funny that he is charged with rape for a boy that is bigger and taller than him and he did not penetrate the boy and the boy penetrated him? That is why I think it is stupid for a women to be charged with statutory rape of a boy. How can the penetrated be raping only the penetrater rapes?

A. Rape is an act of violence not of love under the law of the land. What we think, want, desire does not count before the law. In your supposed scenario, if the person was 15 yes, it would considered statutory rape (a more modern term-corruption of a minor). There is no state within the USA that allows a 15 yr old, male or female, to consent to sex.

In the United States of America age of consent laws are made at the state level. There exist several federal statutes related to protecting children from sexual predators, but none of them imposes an age limit on sexual acts. On 26 June 2003, both heterosexual and homosexual sodomy became legal in all US states and territories under a US Supreme Court decision called Lawrence v. Texas (between non-commercial, consenting adults in a private bedroom).

State laws
Each state of the Union has its own age of consent. Currently state laws set the age of consent at 16, 17 or 18.

The age of consent 16: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia

The age of consent 17: Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Texas

The age of consent 18: Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, North Dakota, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.

what temperature should i keep my house at while I am gone?
Q. I am trying to conserve my energy -I have heard 58-then i have heard 62 degrees? which is it?

A. Where you live is a huge factor in considering what steps and levels you need to pursue in reducing your energy demand to heat your home.

Obviously a three bedroom ranch in Alaska is going to cost considerable more to heat than a two bedroom colonial in South Carolina!

Those dealing with winter climates (lets say states north of Maryland) have some general guidelines that are pretty well accepted. These include:

*When the cold weather arrives, set the house temp to 60 at night and 58 when everyone is off to work is a good benchmark.
*Close off unused rooms.
*Double check the suggested insulation standards for your area -- especially the attic or crawl space! These guidelines have changed in the last few years.
*Check the seals on your doors and windows -- these can be stunningly big energy thieves.

Little more than you wanted, but hope this helps.

A. Thomas Small, his parents, and twin brothers leave their home in North Carolina for Ohio where Mr. Small has a job teaching history at a college. The time of the setting of the story is at the beginning of the Civil Rights Movement during the 1960's.Their new home has previously been a station on the Underground Railroad. Mr. Thomas received a report that stated Dies Drear, the original owner, and two slaves had been murdered at the house. One additional slave had been at the house at the time of the murder. The caretaker of the house is an elderly man named Mr. Pluto.
As Thomas is exploring the house, he meets two neighbors, Pesty and Mac . He then falls into a tunnel under the house where he hears strange sounds.Frightened, he finds an outlet from the tunnel to the kitchen. His father shows him other secret places. Further exploring and sounds lead him to a platform.A large man emerges and chases him home. This is "Mr. Pluto."Mr. and Mrs. Small feel there is something not quite right about him.
During their first night in the house something opens another hidden door and places triangles on the bedroom door frames. The next day the Smalls discover these as well as another in Mr. Small's office at the college. They attend church where they see a changed old Mr. Pluto, an angry Darrow family, and Pesty in old fashioned clothing. While looking for a locksmith, they meet Mr. Carr who warns them about the Darrows. He explains they are secretive and dig up trees and even dig under their home.
Upon returning home, the Smalls find the kitchen vandalized and a sticky substance over everything. Mr. Small and Thomas go Mr. Pluto's to accuse him. They find him in front of his cave but he quickly disappears. They find his bellows which is what has made the scary noise. They discover a hidden door and go down a tunnel to find a vast treasure house of oriental rugs, glasswear, Indian artifacts, and antique furniture.Mr.Pluto and Pesty are waiting there for them.Suddenly another Mr. Pluto appears! It is really Mayhew Skinner, Mr. Pluto's son who is an actor. He has been pretending to be his father to help keep the Darrows away during his father's illness.
Mayhew, Mr. Small, and Thomas make a plant to frighten the Darrows. Mr. Pluto won't leave so he is included in the plan as well. They let it be known that Mr. Pluto has to go into the hospital for t least one night. That night they dress up as slaves and old Mr. Drear. The Darrows come and Mr. Pluto scares them by lookinglike a bat. The drama continues as the apparitions rise up.Pesty is riding a horse with wings to further scare the Darrows.
The next day it is decided that Mr. Small will record all the treasure. It will take a long time to do so and Mr. Pluto can be the caretaker of the treasure for the rest of his life.He is a descendant of the escaped slave and this is how he knew fragments of the story of the treasure. The Darrows might have been related to another slave that might have been there. They did not know where the treasure was and so continued to search for it.
