Q. in my room i have a bedroom set of a highboy, dresser and a bed board thing. on the back of the highboy it says "LIT BROTHERS PHILA PA" and has some numbers that all i can find from what it says (faded) is: 083436 and 01880? My mother thinks that its style is Queene Anne. We tried doing research on various website but none of what we find matches up to the dresser high boy or twin sized bed boards. I am trying to sell it so I can buy new furnituree but we cant figure out what to price it as or what to call it! OR EVEN WHAT YEAR IT WAS MADE IN! sooo i seen prices of furniture like it and It goes from (least) $300- (highest so far) $25,600. so you can tell im confused and i have learned alot about the lit brothers but almost nothing about my set of furniture! Help please!!!!! :)

A. maybe a little bit depending on the condition, as you can see the queen anne Style was a bit earlier than the department store this stuff came from , it was probably a revival type furniture, it still is a department store furniture but at the same time almost a 100 years old...

How do I make my room look more mature and unique as well?
Q. I'm painting my room a dark strawberry color it's really nice but I want the theme to be British. I want to move there when I'm older. I'm painting a British flag on the open wall and i'm. Getting a Louis xv desk and I want to make it mature yet unique. I need all the ideas I can get like what pictures I should hang up and if I should use frames and what kind of curtains I should get and so on. what color bedding I should get please I need all of this in order by tomorrow I'm know I waited last minute but I really need everyones help. I also have 6 guitars and I don't know where I should put them in my room. I'm freaking out i dot know what to do exactly. PLEASE HELP!!!
A. The color you chose should look really good if you do it right. As for the desk you're getting, I would personally opt to go with the wood family; oak, wood, pine, mahogany. Your dresser should also be similar, if your room is fairly large, you should get a very tall or wide dresser. If you can find a round wooden table, you will be able to find a beautiful draped tablecloth to go over top; you can set this by your bed as a "bedside table"; it looks really cute, and you can find a british style lamp to place on top, or find related pictures and frame them on the table.
If you have yet to paint your room, consider leaving one wall a different color than the red. It will offset both, and you can hang your guitars on that wall. Find a overstuffed chair or two, and place them underneath the wall. As for your curtains, you need the whole shebang. (valences, tie backs, etc.)
Buy traditional lamps and place those accordingly around your bedroom. As for the pictures you use, I would frame them. If they range from small to large, you can find a million different types of frames at any craft stores, buy thinner frames and hang them together to create a neat pattern. If you can, I'd go with burnished metal or cast iron photo frames first. If you don't have access but you have a lot of photos, you should use either black, white, or wood colored frames. You may have enough wood by this time, and the black/white will add some contrast. If you have any group photos, those would be good to hang. If you've been out of the country and have photos, hang those as well.
If you're going to go with accessories, you'll have a lot of fun with that. You can use suitcases, photographs, and even hang framed plane tickets. Your patterns should range within bold organic patterns; wicker, shell, coral, desert colors are also good. Make sure you use a lot of pillows on beds, chairs, etc. You'll find them in any british style bedroom.
