They're both polyester bed sets, I have to say I like the purple one a lot. So in terms of quality , they are the same, however I think the purple has more fullness to it.
I don't care for the bench at all. It wouldn't look right with the purple set and you would have to add that same aqua color in accent pillows otherwise you just get this clash of color with nothing really tying it all in.

Hi there everyone, thanks for your time!

I just moved into a brand new house, and my bedroom is upstairs. (It is an attic bedroom) and has a odd, abstract design. Here is a photo of the bedroom: http://i56.tinypic.com/t8nrkw.png (Just copy and paste that into your browser)! I have a Queen sized bed, I need somewhere to put my 55" TV. My colors are black, white and red. I want it to be modern NOT goth. I need to figure out what color to paint all of the walls, and what to do with that awkward nook in the left corner..
I also have a huge red shag rug, a black loveseat, and a coffee table. I do need some new lamps.

I need your help. Help me find reasonably priced modern furniture for my room. What color should I paint the walls? I want it to be light and airy and modern NOT NOT NOT goth.

The room is great right now.
Don't repaint if you want open and modern room.
First pick out bedding that will set the tone for the room.

Get almost any lamp and change the shade to a red drum lamp shade.

You can put your TV across from your love seat.
An Ikea-esque bookshelf will fit in to the nook perfectly.
