New bedroom any ideas?

I'm decorating my room and i honestly have no idea what I like and what to look for. I'm 19, I want something modern but not too much and something with light fresh colors! any suggestion?

Redoing my bedroom! im a 16 year old girl!?

so i'm sixteen and i'm about to redo my room! i love the color purple so i'm definitely going to be doing a purple room (Daylight Lilac 660B-6 or Violet Fields 650B-4) these are both by Behr. And I am set on doing a black and white bedding. I like floral, vintage, and paisley patterns. These are some I really like :

but the problem with the second one is that it is cream! i really do not want cream! i want white! if any one could give me any suggestions on a bed set it would be greatly appreciated! also my room is quite big so obnoxious patterns that won't work in small rooms will most likely work in mine! I'm totally down for new ideas and different patterns! I'm willing to take a look at anything! My mind isn't really set on one specific one! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Purple is a great choice in wall color, you really can't go wrong with it. And I love the idea of using black and white bedding. Here are a few options (some of them have gray in them, but I think it works just as wonderfully):

There are a TON of black/white bedding, so just keep your eyes open! I also like the bedding you posted from Wal-Mart. :)
I would also suggest you venture out to the actual stores, because sometimes you find items there that weren't listed online.
