Depending on how much time you have, you can try any or more of these options:

1) Try the Gulf News classifieds. You can just drop them an email at classified@gulfnews.com with the description of the furniture, and they will run your ad for free after 2 days, for a 3-day period. Make sure that you mention you full name and daytime phone number in the email, even if you don't want it to appear in the ad.

Instead of sending them an email, you can also choose to contact Gulf News Classifieds at their toll-free no. 800 4125, and dictate your classified ad to them on phone.

2) You can also place the items in a UAE-based online auction site, www.souq.com . The listing is free, and you can keep the auction open for 2 weeks at a time. Make sure to include a picture of the item. There are various payment collection options, including cash, card, or even C.O.D. through courier.

its expensive but the rooms they have showing will give you inspiration and I just love there stuff! Also, if you finbd something you like there then go to http://www.ikea.com/ to try to find a knock-off. (mostly furniture and chairs and stuff)
