Help on Emily dicksons poem?

Q. How does heaves in 'Between the Heaves of Storm' describe what is happening in the poem?

Answer
Like many of her poems, âI heard a Fly buzz â when I died ââ has a speaker who communicates to the reader from beyond the grave. This poem, however, unlike âBecause I could not stop for Death,â is focused not on what comes after deathâeternity and the afterlifeâbut instead is focused on the actual rites of dying, of having oneâs last moments. Indeed, this poemâs only dealings with the question of afterlife and eternity come in the fact that the speaker is speaking from beyond the grave, and in order to speak must have some kind of existence after death.
The clues that the death scene itself is the most important element of the poem is clear for several reasons. First, the poem is entirely located in a roomâeven in its metaphors, the perspective does not leave the room, with the only exception being the imagined still air between âthe Heaves of Storm,â which is a generic enough image not to pull the reader out of the bedroom. In addition, Dickinson repeats the phrase âin the Room,â in the first and second stanzas, making sure the reader has not wandered away from this setting.

I'm 15 and I'm going to redo my room. I was thinking black and white with an accent color like red. Can you please help me find a new bed set/comfortor or duvet? Or any other ideas for my room? Thanks soo much!

Go with old hollywood glamour!

Target has big black and white posters of marilyn monroe and audrey hepburn! Very chic and inexpensive!

Red and black are difficult colors to do on a whole wall because you have to do multiple layers. Try a black border around the top. About 9 or 10 deep. Hang these curtains over windows http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40120944 ... if you hang them at the ceiling, it gives the illusion of a much bigger room!

Ikea has a lot of really cute and inexpensive accessories that would help make your room pop!

#7 and #9 are what I'm thinking for accessories. Mirrors on the wall, rich colors, heavy fabrics.

** EDIT ** Check out the curtains and rug in 'RED'
