Curtains not wide enough for windows?

I have a window that covers a huge portion of the wall in my room that I would guess is around 9-10 feet wide and the curtains that go along with my bedroom set/theme are 8-9 feet wide all together. How am I supposed to make this work?

You could buy another pair,even different color and use them on the inside, on the rod, like one pair to the outside of the rod, and then add the other pair next to one another on the inside, then the matching panel on the outside on the other end. When closed you will hardly notice that there are two pair, and when open they will look like they are made that way.

I am redoing my room and my parents bought me a new bedroom set. Now I am looking for a new bedspread to go with it. I want it to be pretty. Maybe purples, browns, tans, or whatever you think is pretty. Any suggestions on a bedspread? Please give a picture and where I can buy it if I like it.
