Bedroom decor help, PLEASE!!?

So I'm redoing my room completely, my walls are going to be cream and blue with a brown wall decal, but I really need help with the accessories. Does anybody know where I can get low-ish prices but good quality, or any ideas on what I should get?

So far, what you have is going to look good; as I picture it. I would go to any department store like Walmart, Kmart, Target or Kohls. Also check stores like Sears, JCPenney. Get a bedding set with cream/brown, white/brown, blue/brown in it. Find pillows that are solid colors if your bedding is a print or stripes.

How much my old furniture is worth???

I have an old bedroom set, from approx the 1970s.....my mom had bought it from Sears, its white, french provincial furniture.....is there a website or somewhere I can find out how much its worth? Im selling it and dont know how much to ask......Thanks!
It is a full size bed that was a canopy (canopy broke-but bed posts & finials are fine)
it has a desk with hutch/shelving unit
vanity with mirror
small chest of drawers with hutch/shelving unit
corner unit
is in good condition, drawers work-just needs some gold touch up paint on some areas.....
I would keep it, but have no use for it and I know it will get ruined in storage

Look on the internet at what other pieces of furniture similar to yours sold at. Try to find the average of all the different prices you found.

I recently tried to find a quality bed frame and had trouble finding a good one. Cheap ones are everywhere such as sears, any matress store, and many furniture stores. I looked hard to find a good one and found them at Matress King.

Not sure where you are located there is JYSK, Ikea, independently owned furniture stores for new furniture, Dent and scratch outlets if you are in a big city Sears, The Bay, The Brick all have dent and scratch outlets, Good quality furniture that might only need touching up with a stain pen. Oak, Ash or a light colored wood would look great or blue, yellow and a light brown.
Also checkout your local thrift stores, Value Village, and bargain finder ads and any freight damaged stores in your area.
You can also try Craig's list for your area, Freecycle, or kijiji in Canada

Another good place is Walmart.com, believe it or not. I found this, http://tinyurl.com/2745w57 on their site. They also have the Hometrends brand things, and they having matching rugs and curtains and things to go with them. That's for the linens and all that.
A great furniture store would be City Furniture or Ashley Furniture. I use to like Rooms to Go, but they started selling things in the last few years that are made with poor craftsmanship. they don't hold up as well as the others. Y'know... cheap.
Another good furniture place is http://www.morebedroomsets.com/ and they have free shipping until September 20th. Shake a leg on that one.
If you are looking to be frugal, scan the news paper classifieds or Ebay for pick up only items in your area. You can find some really cheap deals. For instance, my mom just sold her solid mahogany canopy bed, ottoman, and two large book cases for only $400.
