redecorating my room? ?

Q. Well, I am redecorating my bedroom. And, I'm stuck for ideas and colors and decor, ETC. I'll tell you about me, and what type of things I like. 1stly, I am very romantic (like flowers everywhere, and so on), I'm quiet girly, and I love the old fashioned houses and decor - especially the Georgian period.
So, please help me decide; what colour to paint my walls, what duvets to have, carpets and lights. all suggestions are appreciated!

I think it's all about the bedding. Layers of florals mixed with checks and stripes, a chandelier and beautiful lightening. The colors should be soft pinks and yellows with lots of white. A canopy is always romantic. String white lights on a fake tree for instant romance. Have you looked at the shabby chic line at Target? That may be the place to start.

Q. im a teen...16....and a girl. we jus got our whole house redone and i got my room painted light green...buts it not a really bright green. now im gettin my bedroom furniture so i want to know what color would go with the bedroom set for my room. would tha lite green still go with it?

A. A light green would be fine, but maybe a a different color wall for where the bed is, like a maybe a deeper green, or a light, chocolate shake brown, would look nice.

Q. I want to re decorate my bedroom, want to have feature wall of one colour ( purple or shocking pink)
and the rest a ligh colour, Then i might not find the accessories to match my feature wall.

I want to go neutral now, like ivory or beige, and add shockin pink accesories in the room.

A. Hey. For the bed you can make it ivory, like you said and the set two but you can insert the schockin pink in the pillows. you can get a pink chandelier, or pink LED light bulbs or pink neon lights. the effect is rlyy nice. if you have a chandelier with no pink on it you can tie some pink ribbons on it. its rly cute. if you have a makeup set.make sure its flashy and put it next to a very flashy kind of mirror. dont hesitate on putting other mirrors on the wall! it will make the room lk larger and nicer and even work on the carpet! its a very important element!

When you move into an apt, and your friend has the lease in their name?

Q. What will happen if you move in and don't put your name on the leas? I can't get the lease in my name, I have to much on my credit and make to much money. Our rent would be like 1000 a month. So she said she would get the lease in her name and get a 2 bedroom and I could just move in with her. I have like 4 or 5 friends doing with already, is it major trouble, or do people do it every day and it's really no big deal?

A. It sounds like your friend lives in a tax credit or bond community and has qualified to live there based on her income.

If you move in and together you make too much money, and the management finds out, your friend could lose her apartment and both of you would not have a place to stay. Unauthorized residents in an affordable community (such as tax credit or bond) are a major issue and believe me, the management is going to find out sooner or later when packages start arriving for you, or you lose your keys and ask them to let you in, or the mailman notifies them that this apartment is getting mail that doesn't belong to the lease signer. If they discover she has moved someone in without permission, she can get evicted and then you both are out of there.

Not only that, you are setting yourself up to be in a bad situation if you move in with her without being on the lease. You will have no rights, she can kick you out whenever she wants, and you are not getting any rental history for yourself to be able to move to your own place eventually.

I don't suggest you go this route. If you want to move in with her, go somewhere where you both can be on the lease legally, to protect yourself if nothing else.
