How do I go around getting apartment help?

Alright my question is simple I'm 20and don't knw how to go around getting apt.What are the basics is it proper to just call the main office or can I set up appointment.I don't have time for bullshit but I'm sure I'll get it on a silver tray .I don't have. Credit and no co sighner and since I don't have that they will want some cash I do have money."But" I'm only willing to put at least 2 grand.Thats it Im starting a Plc business and got limits!.so what do you guys think I knw my options are slim but give me something.the rent that I'm saying is around 1g a month or if I want more 1500 two bedroom.im in el paso Texas.

Since you have no credit and no cosigner, you need to avoid large complexes with professional management company. They have a fiduciary obligation to the owner(s), and must check your credit report in addition to employment verification, references, etc. Apparently, you do not yet have any landlord references to prove you pay rent on time and keep your place tidy? Then deal directly with landlords of small buildings, basement apartments, in-law apartments, and the like. You will need to prove you earn at least 3 times the rent, although if you are not earning at least 4 times rent, you will end up in financial hot water very quickly. So for a $1500 apt, you need to prove you earn over $4500/month, and need to earn over $6000/month to really afford it.

You also need good character references from respected adults. Beware any attitude. Dealing with landlords, they have to like you, and they will select someone prepared with their documentation, professional appearance, and personable mien.

Q. we've been shopping around, and the cheapest we can find a bed set, dresser, and mattress is about 2 grand. does that sound about right? we live in el paso at the moment, and i can't buy used down here, i wouldn't trust it. and i'm not doing the whole "toddler bed" thing..... seems like a big waste of money.

that seems really pricey for just a bed, dresser, and mattress, id look around some more. im 17 so i dont have kids, and i never had a nursery, my crib was actually in the bathroom, (it was a one bedroom place, my brother got the one room because he was the oldest, my parents slept in the living room, and me and my sister slept in the bathroom), and i got my first room when i was 2 and we moved, so out of the crib, so im not an expert on it but ive definitely seen furniture for cheaper prices. here are some suggestions that i found online:

Luxury Apartments or Town Homes in el paso Texas?

Q. My husband is currently in the Army, and we are being PCS'd to Fort Bliss El Paso Texas. We are expecting our first child, so we are looking for move into a town home or luxury apartment, 2-3 bedrooms, nothing more then 1100 a month. We prefer a place that is newer, with good reviews. Can anyone help??

A. My name is Nichole Williams-Dixon! My husband and I are moving to El Paso Tx on April 24th 2011. We are moving to this Military commuity called Van Horne Estates. It is a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment 980 square feet for $795.00 a month. This is brand new and is 10 minutes away from Fort Bliss. They also have allotments so they can split the rent up in 2 payments 1st and 15th.

My husabnd and I are comming from a 4 bedroom house in Georgia so everything is going in storage. This community has a swimming pool, kids playground, tennis court and other amentites. It is an all Military!

what you have to understand is that we have access to the base, so many of your amentites are there and you don't have to get that in an apartment

One major perk that we offer is that we will set up an allotment for you, which means you never have to worry about late fees and instead of having to write one big check the first of every month, your rent will be taken out of your husbands paycheck half on the 15th and half on the 1st which makes for easier budgeting.

We are a brand new community currently being developed and we are now pre-leasing for the end of May and later. So you would be the very first person to live in your new apartment. A. You can also go to www.realtor.com . On the first page type in El Paso Tx and click the rent button (the default setting is buy). Click on the bedroom button to let them know the minimum # you will need. Same for the bathroom button. Then hit search.
