Hi can someone please find a pretty bedroom set. Something light. At least a 5 piece set. Something that won't make the room look really small.

How much should I sell this bedroom set for?

It is a children's bedroom set, but pretty average size furniture. The style is a medium stained wood, 3 piece set (bed, desk, and dresser).

The bed is a half loft, twin size (mattress and box spring not included). The desk is fairly large, one piece, 3 side drawers, 1 desk drawer, and a shelf above the desk. The dresser is waist high, with 6 drawers, and a detachable mirror.

The condition on a scale from 1 - 10 (10 being the best), I would rate it a 6 or 7. It was originally purchased about 1992.
The purchased price is unknown.

Hello there. I would guess you might hope to get $200.00 for it. But you want to get the most possible. Ask $300.00 and if someone offers you less, you can still get the $200.00. People like to think they are getting a bargain... and should then be happy to pay $200.00.

What is the average gass bill for a two bedroom?

I'm in Calgary in Canada it get's pretty cold here. I just got a 2 bedroom in a 4 plex I am responsible for my own heat and the people's heat that live on the top floor of my side of the 4 plex they are responsible for my water and electricity. I'm looking for worst case senario of how much I will have to pay? I'm asking this in this section cause no one will answer in anyother section. Thanks.

It is hard to say. Depends on how warm would you like your place be and also how good your apartment is insulated.

But I will tell you how much ours is:

We (my boyfriends and I) live in a basement suite, but have to pay the gas for the whole house, as the family living on the main floor pay for the water and electricity.

There is only one furnace for the whole place and the family upstairs turn it reallly high up!!
So, it makes the whole two bedroon house AND its two bedroom basement really really warm and we pay something between $100 to $200. Although the $200 is for when the weather is 50 degrees below zero outside, and the upstairs people have their livingroom window wide open for at least two hours a day (to get oxygen) and the furnace keeps running over and over and over!!!!

If you can get a furnace switch with a timer, (which we do not have) then you can save A LOT in gas money. You can set it to start warming the place before you get up, or before you get home from work/school/etc. In this case no gas will be used to warm an empty apartment and add dollars to your bill.

What would be an average electric bill for a one bedroom apartment in Phoenix during the summer?

I am moving to Phoenix in three weeks. I will be in a one bedroom apartment around 750 sq feet. The building is less than two years old. Right now im just trying to get a rough estimate of my utilities each month.

About $200-250 depending on where you keep your temp set. I keep mine around 75 and in the summer it runs almost all day and half the night.

I need to identify a type of furniture wood - part 2?

The summary of responses is that it's either knotty pine, birds-eye maple, or pecan. I took a picture of it, here is a link to it, let me know if anyone has a better idea after viewing!

If it helps, my husband purchased the 4-piece bedroom set (2 nightstands, a 9-drawer dresser, and a large mirror, framed in the same wood, that sits on the dresser) for 1K, about 7 years ago. A side question would be figuring out how much to sell it for...I recently noticed that in a certain light, there appears to be scratch marks on top of the dresser! (Maybe ask for $200 for all of it??)

you can all ways take the picture with you to the furniture store and try to match it. as far as scratches on your other item, buy you some furniture marker pens that cover up the scratches or even buy shoe paste that matches the furniture and wipe it on and then wipe off. unless you just want to buy more furniture.

Like, to start off buying all the supplies...crib, changing table, dresser, diapers, clothes, bath stuff, first aid, maternity clothes, decorate the babies room..etc.

we dont need insurance money..my husband is military.
im thinking around 4,000? the bedroom set i found was 1200...
Yeah, I like Walmart ones too. I also want one of the changing tables that have the bookshelf thing..they look like a china cabinet sort of thing? Do you know what Im talking about?

Around $1500-and I have nice stuff. A bedroom set for 1200? The crib I have is from Walmart and was $150 and is really nice. Its all on what you really want I guess. A lot of things aren't necessary.


EDIT:

I just wanted to add a few things:
My little girl doesn't have a dresser as she has a closet in her bedroom for storage and to hang up clothes.
The only furniture we have is a Crib, as a bassinet and changing table also were unnecessary.
We don't have a monitor, as I won't ever be far away from my daughter.
Diaper pails are a total waste of money-do diapers really need their own garbage? No.
We don't have a swing or a bouncer-cute, but not necessary. We do have a high chair that was $90 from Target that was a gift that she can sit in if she needs to.
The travel system I bought was from babiesrus.com and it was $200 and VERY good quality.
The only crib bedding we have is a waterproof mattress pad and a couple sheets, as they don't suggest anything in the crib anymore due to SIDS risk, so that is a big money saver.

Also-Thrift stores/consignment shops are nice for clothing, but don't buy used furniture or anything else there unless you absolutely know its safe.

We received a playpen as a gift and they are nice to have-the one I received was about $70.

I also signed up for coupons at baby product websites-they really help.

The Original Owner painted the Set twice. The Head and Footboard have damage on the wicker. I wanted to strip the paint but do not want to hurt the Furniture.
Fullsize Bed,Chiffon Robe,Desk (Marble Top) and matching Mirror.

Very good brand name Ad say the bed is worth 500.the armoire is maybe 1000 night table are worth maybe 300 and the mirror 200 hope that help you good luck.

what is the average utilities bill for a 3 bedroom apartment with 4 people?

Q. My 3 friends and I are looking into moving into 3 bedroom apartment. The rent is $800.00 per month plus water and electric utilities. How much do you think our utilities bill will be per month? We will be living in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

A. Let do the numbers, to see what we come up with? Rent divided $800 by 4 = $200. each for rent ***** Light bill $150.00 mo. divided by 4 =$37.75 each approx *****Water bill divided $75.00X4 =$18.75 month ****** Groceries $300.00 each per month X 4 =$!,200. 00 total per month ************** Rent$200.00ea .lights+$37.75ea. Water +$18.75+ Groceries $300.00 =$556.50 each Note: Groceries are added in also. There will always be the so called moochers! That will eat everything! Use these figures to see how close I am. All rent has to be paid on time by a certain date. A contract will have to be set up and each person sign it, so they all know what there obligations are monthly. Groceries seem high, but take $300.00 each divided by 30 days= $10.00 per day for food. so my figures are close.
