What's the best surround sound system for music in a small room?

I am completely new to surround sound systems, and all the terminology is so confusing. I need a surround sound system that works well for music, is around $100-$200 (new or used), and is good for a 10x12 bedroom. It may end up getting used for a TV down the road, so it would we be good if it also sounds okay for television. I'd really appreciate any help I can get, I feel so clueless!

are you looking for a 5.1 or 7.1? for $200, well you're in a very tight budget, so you might as well get a entertainment system. try this HT-D550ZA - samsung. it's under $200 in bestbuy. if you are really looking for a very good surround system, forget about bose. i mean, bose is so overrated and the sound quality really sucks. the best speakers out there are defeinitive, martin logan, b&w, vienna acoustics to name a few. i have only a 3.1 set up, all martin logans and i already spent about $4000 just for the center channel speaker, left and right spearkers, and the sub. i want to set it up for a 5.1 but, i don't have enough room to put the 2 speakers, but, i tell you this, i only have 3.1, but the sound quality is superb.

Planning a trip to Disney for me, hubby and 3 kids?

I have scrolled and can't find the answer I'm looking for. I'm looking for a value resort, but which one is the best? Are there any with a room with a separate living room? Hubby snores, kids would get no rest. Is shuttle service charged from resort to magic kingdom? HELP! Planning trip for July.

Not to worry, planning the trip can be fun too. With your size party the only value resort that may accomodate you is the All-Star music. They have added guest suites for larger parties. Otherwise you are looking at Port Orleans - Riverside or a vacation club resort. If you go with a vacation club resort you can get a two bedroom vacation condo with full kitchen. You and your husband will have one room, there is a separate living room, then the kids have a separate bedroom. The All-Star suites are set up in much the same way, I am pretty sure. The difference is going to be in the price and overall size of the rooms, plus availability in July.

Staying on property gives you access to the outstanding perks that Disney offers. They really take good care of their resort guests. The transportation system is free for resort guests, something that the off site hotels can't all say. Plus they are on a limited schedule and the Disney busses run every 10-15 minutes. You also are able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, in which one park is open early and one late for resort guests only. Not to mention the free shuttle to and from Orlando Int'l Airport complete with luggage service, if you decide to fly. You can also use the Disney dining plan which is a real money saver for food.

My suggestion is to go onto the Disney website and check out their resort comparison tool, plus there is a ton of info on each resort (complete with pics), the dining plan and every ride and attraction. You can see what will work for your family based on a few different factors. You can even get a quote online and see what resorts will fit your family size and the prices. I would call to book however, just to make sure you get what you want.

The other site you can check out is the disboards. The disboards is a message board website that is all about going to Disney. You can get resort reviews (and pictures), restaurant reviews, strategies for visiting the parks, tips and tricks and much more. I put both links below.

I am going to be thirteen and I want to change my room. No pink or brown please. My favorite colors are purple and green. I have a lot of pictures so maybe you can find something that has a cork board? Idk really. i'm pretty open to any ideas.
